TOP 10 ENTERPRISES SIGN DECLARATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MONGOLIA

Last week, the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) and Erdenet State Owned Enterprise organized a cooperation meeting of TOP 10 Enterprises in Erdenet city.  The event was organized by Erdenet state-owned enterprise, which has been named as a TOP-100 enterprise for the 15th year. 

Executive Members of MNCCI, Erdenet state-owned enterprise, Erdenes-Tavantolgoi JSC, Oyu Tolgoi LLC, Khan Bank, MCS Group, Petrovis Oil LLC, Golomt Bank, Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC and Shunkhlai LLC participated in the discussion and exchanged views on how to address issues such as securing people from the pandemic, the current situation and how to control the risks facing the economy. 

The meeting resulted in adopting recommendations to the new government to be formed following the forthcoming parliamentary election of 2020 on improving the business and legal climate, preserving policy stability, resolving the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic within a short period of time, and reviving and strengthening the economy and also signing on the statement of declaration.

The declaration envisions shared goals and priorities to have more stable legal framework, create legal environment that enables online activities, have effective advocacy strategies at decision-making level, support small and medium sized businesses through procurement processes, improve coordination among public and private entities, allowing them to cooperate in major infrastructure projects, ensure active participation in the delivery of the Vision 2050 long-term development policy, enhance educational system to have workforce prepared for the changing nature of work in the digital era, reduce the role of state in business, eliminate corruption, increase public participation in the state budget and public fund expenditures and many others.
