MORTGAGE LOAN DISBURSED TO 613 BORROWERS IN MARCH

In March 2020, mortgage loans worth MNT 46.6 billion were disbursed to 613 borrowers in total, of which 43 percent was issued through the source of the government and 57 percent from the commercial banks.

The average weighted interest rate of newly disbursed mortgage loans was 11.5 percent which decreased by 1.5 percentage points compared with the same period of the previous year.

The total outstanding mortgage loan is MNT 4.6 trillion, of which 74 percent was issued through the source of the government and 21.3 percent from the commercial banks.

Moreover, 95.8 percent of mortgage loans is normal, 2.2 percent is overdue, and 2 percent is non-performing.
