7.4 PERCENT OF TOTAL 29.2 MILLION DAMS DELIVER LIVESTOCK OFFSPRING

As of March 20, 2.2 million dams (7.4 percent of total 29.2 million) have delivered offspring. 2.3 percent of the dams are large cattle (horse, camel, cow), while 97.3 percent are small cattle. With 2.2 million livestock offspring delivered, the survival rate is currently at 98.4 percent.

So far, the nationwide mortality rate of livestock is 0.5 percent, which is considered as average.
