MONGOLIAN CITIZENS RETURN FROM RUSSIA TO CROSS BORDER THROUGH ALTANBULAG, TSAGAANNUUR BORDER CHECKPOINTS

An operative team of the State Emergency Commission yesterday reported that Mongolian nationals, who are residing and studying in the Russian Federation, are possible to cross the border of Mongolia only through Altanbulag-Khiagt, Tsagaannuur-Tashanta border checkpoints when returning to their home country. 

In frames of the measures for preventing and containing the novel coronavirus infection, Russian universities and colleges have turned to distance training. Therefore, number of Mongolian citizens and students returning home is increasing.

Citizens, who intends to return to the country, are able to cross the border without any barrier as contacting with the Consulate Department of the Embassy of Mongolia in the Russian Federation, the Consulate Generals in Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude cities, informing their entrance through the above-mentioned border crossings in advance and get registered.
