FIRE CAUSED THE LOSS OF MNT 3.1 BILLION

As of first two months of 2020, 579 occurrences of household fires have been recorded. As a  consequence, 25 people and 12760 livestock died, 346 house and apartments burned, causing loss of MNT 3.1 billion.

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) saved the lives of 337 and property worth MNT 12.7 MNT.

34 percent or 197 occurrences of fire were from open fire, 27.5 percent or 159 were due to misuse of electricity, 25 percent or 145 were due to exhaust ventilation and 6.6 percent or 38 were due to technological violations.
