IMPORT OF ANIMAL-RELATED PRODUCTS DECLINES

According to the Customs General Administration, the import of animal-related products in the last month reached US5.9 million, showing a decrease of 4.1 percent as compared with the same period of 2019.

Out of the total import, chicken worth USD2.2 million was imported from China (98 percent) and Russia (2 percent).

In regard with the outbreak of nCoV in China, the import of chicken and eggs has been suggested to be temporarily banned.
