21 NEW COAL MONGOLIAN PROJECTS

 

The biggest CTL project is “Sinopec”, which will process 50-80 million tons of coal annually. If this project goes ahead, 15 billion m3 of liquefied natural gas (LNG) will be exported annually.

Three coal companies are making products with added value. “Energy Resources” LLC company launched the biggest coal enrichment factory in 2011, which has the ability to clean 15 million tons of coal annually. Also, Hong-Kong listed “Mongolian Energy Corporation” (MEC) is operating a dry technology, coal enrichment plant which has the ability to clean 2.4 million tons of coal.
