BELL GEOSPACE AWARDED CONTRACT FOR DATA ACQUISITION BY PETRO MATAD

  • The survey will commence in September 2015 and covers Blocks IV and V in central Mongolia, an area of mountainous desert and steppe.

Bell Geospace, leaders in full tensor gravity gradiometry data acquisition, are delighted to announce that they have been awarded a contract to acquire approximately 4,247 square miles of data onshore Mongolia, by Petro Matad Limited.

The program marks the first time that the full tensor gradiometer technique will be applied to oil and gas exploration in the country, demonstrating the growing appreciation for FTG data acquisition across the world. The survey will commence in September 2015 and covers Blocks IV and V in central Mongolia, an area of mountainous desert and steppe.

Commenting on the latest contract award, Petro Matad said in a company statement:
