FIRST MEAT EXPORT SHIPMENT TO CHINA WEIGHS 16 TONS

Launching the official export of meat to China, “Mon-Tuva” LLC of Uvs aimag shipped 16 tons of mutton to China through Burgastai border checkpoint of Govi-Altai aimag this February.

China Inspection&Quarantine Services cancelled the ban on import of raw beef, mutton and goat meat from the five western aimags of Mongolia last December. Thus, the office announced our Uvs, Zavkhan, Khovsgol, Govi-Altai and Bayankhongor a zone free of hoof-and-mouth disease.

China Inspection&Quarantine Services has given the special permits to Zavkhan Foods, Khovsgol Makh Market and Mon-Tuva companies on exporting beef, mutton and goat meat.
