PM ASEM VENUE SITE

The XI Asia Europe Meeting (ASEM) will be held in Ulaanbaatar in July 2016. Currently, 5000 guests including the presidents of 15 countries, prime ministers and foreign ministers of 21 countries, the heads of numerous the international organizations and the media are planning to participate in the XI ASEM forum. 

Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg chairs the National Council, which is tasked with the preparation and organization of ASEM. On 15^th May, he visited the Media Center which is being set up at the Shangri-La Hotel, the transit hall of ChinggisKhaan International Airport, theChinggisiinKhuree Complex and the ASEM Villa where lawns and gardens are being set out.

Every Wednesday, the National Council for ASEM and sub-working teams meet to discuss and find solutions to their problems. Everything is going according to schedule with people responsible for each task.

The Governmental Administration Media Bureau has informed that the Prime Minister has appealed to the public to co-operate for ASEM. Mr Saikhanbileg said: “We, Mongolians must organize this prestigious international event in an excellent manner and to the best of our ability. We can meet this challenge when the Mongolian state and private sectors, the people and the army of volunteers all work together. Companies and other organizations are actively supporting and participating in this work.”
