Speaker of Mongolian Parliament Z.Enkhbold received May 24 Mr Alfred Hannig, Executive Director of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion, along with his delegation. The speaker wished the delegates a convenient stay in Mongolia. “Credit interest rate is high in Mongolia due to relatively higher interest rate for savings. The parliament is focusing on reducing policy interest rate”, said Mr Z.Enkhbold. Mr Hannig introduced the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. Accordingly, the Alliance unites the financial policy institutions from all over the globe to provide about 2 billion people who lack adequate financial services with accesses to the financial services. So far, 94 countries have joined the organization. Speaker Z.Enkhbold expressed his confidence that such actions for improving financial inclusions will bring success in eradicating poverty and promoting economic growth.
