3. Tamir began his career as a tax officer for the General Department of National Taxation of Mongolia. In 2003 he established IFS to provide tax advisory, compliance and accounting outsourcing services to multinational companies.

Tamir earned his Honors Bachelor's of Accounting and Economics Degree, majoring in Accounting from the University of Finance and Economics of Mongolia, Master Degree of Economics of development from the Australian National University and Master Degree of Economics from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics in Russia.
