FACILITIES BUILT IN ZAMYN-UUD TO BE PUT INTO OPERATION

A project on Zamyn-Uud infrastructure improvement started to be implemented with Chinese soft loan in 2011. Within the project, irrigation, heating and power supply, sewerage, auto road and communication signaling works were made and handed over to the State Commission in charge of constructional works in 2016-2018.

In this regard, the Cabinet assigned corresponding minister and heads of agencies take measures to commence operations of the facilities before July 1 this year.

Within the project, waste water treatment plant, water purification plant, electrical sub-station, 13.5 km road, illuminations and pedestrian roads were built. Total cost of the project is USD 58.8 million, of which Mongolian government issued USD8.8 million.
