AMBASSADOR L. PUREVSUREN MEETS UNCTAD SECRETARY-GENERAL

On June 4, L.Purevsuren, Mongolian Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva met with Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). They exchanged views on the activities undertaken in accordance with the Mongolian president’s participation in the World Investment Forum as well as funding of UNCTAD projects and programs for Mongolia.

Secretary-General Mukhisa Kituyi expressed his willingness to provide unwavering support to the cooperation between Mongolia and UNCTAD. The sides agreed to strengthen the cooperation through development of transit transport and free zones in Mongolia, advancement of the country’s experience in establishment of free trade agreements, promotion of green export and bio trade, as well as assessment of the investment policy implementation.
