MIAT Mongolian Airlines will operate its inaugural flight on the Ulaanbaatar–Singapore route on November 4, 2025. The airline announced that it is ready to launch the new international flight route during a regular briefing of the Minister of Road and Transport on October 27. According to MIAT CEO Munkhtamir Batbayar, currently, MIAT operates flights to 14 international and eight domestic destinations, with an average of ten flights per day. “During the summer season, the number rises to 25–30 daily flights, but since switching to the winter schedule two days ago, flight frequency to certain destinations has decreased. For instance, flights to Seoul have been reduced to two per day, totaling 14 per week,” he said. The upcoming Ulaanbaatar–Singapore route will become the 15th international destination of the national flag carrier. As of October 27, the company has operated 3,526 flights, carrying a total of 983,000 passengers, representing a 2.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year. In addition, 8,579 tons of cargo have been transported so far this year. During the briefing, it was noted that, starting January 1, 2026, fees for takeoff, landing, and other related services at Chinggis Khaan International Airport will increase under the bilateral concession agreement. For instance, currently set at MNT 17,000, the fee will rise to USD 18 from the beginning of next year.
