1.22 Million Tons of Coal Sold in One Day

Ulaanbaatar, October 2, 2025 /MONTSAME/. “Erdenes Tavantolgoi” JSC successfully conducted four trades through the Mongolian Stock Exchange, selling 1.22 million tons of coal with a total value of USD 62.3 million on September 30, 2025.

 

Seven clients participated in the trade. They purchased 512,000 tons of 1/3 coking coal and 512,000 tons of thermal coal with delivery to the Gantsmod port of the People’s Republic of China and 192,000 tons of thermal coal with delivery to the Mandal port.

On August 13, 2025, “Erdenes Tavantolgoi” JSC made three trades, selling 595,200 tons of coal for USD 43.8 million, which was considered a significant achievement at the time.
