Bank of Mongolia Purchases 1.2 Tons of Precious Metals in January

Ulaanbaatar, February 6, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Bank of Mongolia purchased 1,236.5 kilograms of precious metals in January 2025, which is an increase of 21.9 percent compared to the same period last year. 

Since the beginning of 2025, the Darkhan-Uul branch of the Bank of Mongolia has purchased 26.3 kilograms of precious metals, while the Bayankhongor branch has bought 175.8 kilograms

The price of precious metals is determined by the global market. Last month, the average price per gram of gold was MNT 297,634.43, as reported by the Bank of Mongolia.
