Mongolian Stock Market Value Reaches MNT 12.3 Trillion

Ulaanbaatar, August 6, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian stock market value reached MNT 12.3 trillion, according to the Mongolian Stock Exchange report. Trading indicators of last week show that the TOP-20 index rose to 50,228.93 units, a 3.05 percent increase compared to the previous week.

This is the second time that the TOP-20 index has reached more than 50 thousand units, with the first record happening on July 31, 2024.

On the last day of trading last week, 851,159 stocks of 43 companies were traded for MNT 833.6 million. Of these, the values of the stocks of 19 companies increased, 15 companies' decreased, and 9 companies' are stable. 

Companies that had the highest increase were “Darkhan Khuvun” (DAN +15.00%), “Crypto Nation” (CNF +12.70%), and “Bodi Daatgal” (BODI +9.96%), while companies with the highest decrease were “Juulchin Duty Free” (SUL -14.61%), “Remicon” (RMC -8.62%), “State Bank” (SBM -1.88%). 

Additionally, the APU JSC announced that it will distribute the first half-year dividend of MNT 55 for each stock, totaling MNT 58.5 billion.
