Mongolia Economic Forum to Host 500 International Guests

Ulaanbaatar, July 2 /MONTSAME/. Mongolia Economic Forum will commence on Monday, July 8, 2024, in Ulaanbaatar.  A total of 2000 guests will be participating in the two-day Forum. Specifically:

-State and government officials -300

-International guests - 500

- Representatives of international organizations, and embassies - 100 

-Private sector representatives -500

- Scholars - 100

- Students - 500

 

The Working Group for the Mongolia Economic Forum held a meeting on the Forum organization and exchanged views with ministry and agency officials, representatives from professional associations, and non-government organizations.

 

The government officials and representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia, the Business Council of Mongolia, EuroChamber Mongolia, The Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association (MSFA, a.k.a ToC)Mongolian Association of Securities Dealers, the Mongolian Fintech Association, Mongolian Non-Bank Financial Institutions Association (MNBFIA), The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Mongolia, Insurance Association of Mongolia participated in the meeting.

 

The Forum will take place in the Grand Hall of the State Palace and the Chinggis Khaan National Museum.

 

The first-day meeting will start with a discussion of the “Regional Development Policy” and sub-meetings will be followed on:

-Rural development and cooperative, intensive livestock farming  

- Regional tax and investment policy

-Transport infrastructure and regional development.
