Memorandum of Cooperation Signed on Infrastructure Financing

Ulaanbaatar, March 18, 2024. /MONTSAME/. On March 14, 2024, First Deputy Governor of Ulaanbaatar City in charge of Economy and Infrastructure Sainzorig Purevjav and Executive Director of Ulaanbaatar Securities Exchange (UBX) Davaajargal Magsarjav signed a Memorandum of Cooperation at the “Ulaanbaatar - Regional Development” Forum.

 

Under the Memorandum, the two parties will cooperate to synergize public-private partnerships, increase the contribution of the stock market to funding Ulaanbaatar’s infrastructure, support good governance and transparency in investment policies, and enhance economic efficiency.

 

“Ulaanbaatar Securities Exchange” JSC was established on May 1, 2015, and is the first regulated securities exchange operating in Mongolia, holding trading and clearing licenses from the Financial Regulatory Commission. In the future, UBX aims to develop the Mongolian financial market by introducing world-class exchange services and operating with 26 trading members.

 

 

During the Forum, topics such as the administrative reform of Ulaanbaatar, public-private partnerships, planning and construction of sub-centers, and the satellite city were discussed.
