MINING MINISTER PARTICIPATING IN IMARC 2022

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry of Mongolia J. Ganbaatar is participating in the “International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) 2022. On the sidelines of his participation in the event, the Minister met with Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayev, Saudi Arabia`s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and Shri Vivek Bharadwaj, State Secretary of the Indian Ministry of Mines.

According to the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, the three parties discussed that there are plenty of possibilities and opportunities to exchange experiences in the mining sector, especially in the field of oil, and cooperate in basic geological research and exploration within this sector.

As a result of the meeting, the experts from the Republic of India will come and work in Mongolia`s Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and related agencies this year. At the same time, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its willingness to cooperate with Mongolia in many other fields including the mining industry.

Australia’s largest and most influential mining event - International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) is taking place in Sydney, Australia from November 2-4.
