MONGOLIA AND TURKEY TO COOPERATE IN DEVELOPMENT OF FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Within the framework of the Mongolia-Turkey Business Forum, a business meeting has been held in Istanbul, Turkey.

More than 50 Mongolian and Turkish entrepreneurs and representatives of companies in commerce, transport, logistics, construction, tourism, food, agriculture, and beauty took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, the sides decided to organize a meeting in Mongolia in November to discuss cooperation in the agricultural sector of Mongolia.

Also, in the direction of developing and attracting foreign investment in Mongolia`s free economic zone,  the Mongolian representatives planned to study Turkey's experience in this area and introduce investment opportunities for Turkish investors. The parties also agreed to expand business cooperation step by step in the industrialized cities of Turkey.

In the meeting organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), relevant officials of the two countries, including Cengiz Gul, Chairman of the Turkey-Mongolia Business Council, Tuğba Bal Bahar, the Coordinator of the Eurasian Business Council, Sh.Khishigsuren, the Consul General of Mongolia in Istanbul, and S.Bayasgalan, MNCCI Secretary General were also present.
