TWO AIRPORTS TO BE COMMISSIONED IN KHENTII AIMAG NEXT YEAR

New airports are planned to be put into operation in Dadal and Undurkhaan soums, Khentii aimag, reports Minister of Road and Transport Development L.Khaltar.

 

The two airports started to be constructed  this year with an aim to boost tourism in the region. Minister L.Khaltar also noted that  the country charges for emergency landing of aircraft passing through the country, however there is no such opportunity in the eastern region.

 

MNT 5 billion is to be spent for the airport construction in Dadal soum from the state budget, while the airport in Undurkhaan soum is expected to be constructed with MNT 9.9 billion worth of foreign loans and assistance.
