TOTAL SALES OF STOCKS DECREASED BY 23.6 PERCENT IN JULY

According to the National Statistics Office, in the first 7 months of 2021, 378.9 million pieces of securities worth MNT 624.7 billion were traded at the national stock market, increased by MNT 596.8 billion (22.4 times more) and 206.8 million pieces of securities (2.2 times more) compared to the same period of the previous year.

In July 2021, total sales of stocks reached MNT 5.5 billion, decreased by MNT 1.7 billion (23.6%) from the previous month, while it was increased by MNT 1.0 billion (23.7%) from the same period of the previous year.

The number of pieces of traded securities reached 15.7 million, dropped by 6.7 million pieces (30.0%) from the previous month, while it was risen by 8.7 million pieces (2.2 times more) from the same period of the previous year.

In July 2021, the average of indices of the top 20 financial markets was 32644.1 units, declined by 377.7 units from the previous month, but increased by 16193.6 units from the same period of 2020.

In July 2021, the total value of joint-stock companies operating at stock markets reached MNT 3.9 trillion, increased by MNT 123.3 billion (3.2%) from the previous month, and increased by MNT 1.4 trillion (54.7%) from the same period of the previous year.
