GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO EXPAND BILATERAL COOPERATION EMPHASIZED

On September 5, U.Enkhtuvshin, Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister and head of Mongolian delegation in the Third Mongolia-China Expo, met with Baima chilin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and head of Chinese delegation in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China.

At the meeting, Mr. Enkhtuvshin expressed pleasure with co-organization of numerous important events covering all sectors of cooperation and high-level visits on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Mr. Enkhtuvshin pointed out that Mongolian government holds policy to deepen comprehensive strategic partnership with China, in particular boosting trade turnover, improving trade structure, increasing the export and varieties of value-added final products and non-mining products, augmenting investment, introducing eco-friendly advanced technology and showing more support to investment in non-mining sectors.

Praising Inner Mongolia’s weighty contribution to trade and economic cooperation of the two countries, Mr. Enkhtuvshin put forth a proposal to further take actions on facilitating trade, reducing non-tariff barriers and improving the carrying capacity of border checkpoints, railway and auto roads.

For his part, Mr. Baima chilin noted that China aims to develop win-win cooperation with Mongolia in all sectors within its policy to have friendly relations and develop partnership with its neighbor countries. "There is a great opportunity to expand bilateral cooperation in all sectors, he added. 

The sides appraised the significance of Mongolia-China Expo for deepening bilateral cooperation.
