SECURITIES WORTH MNT10.6 BILLION TRADED AT NATIONAL STOCK MARKET

 In January 2021, 60.7 million pieces of securities worth MNT 10.6 billion were traded at the national stock market, showing an increase of MNT 6.4 billion (2.5 times more) and 46.0 million pieces of securities (4.1 times more) compared to the same period of the previous year. The total turnover of stocks dropped by MNT 3.7 billion (25.5%) and the total turnover of pieces of securities dropped by 39.1 million pieces (39.2%) from the previous month.

In January 2021, the average of indices of the top 20 financial markets was 20030.1 units, increased by 1904.0 units from the previous month, and increased by 897.2 units from the same period of 2020.

In January 2021, the total value of joint-stock companies operating at stock markets reached MNT 3.0 trillion, decreased by MNT 22.2 billion (0.7%) from the previous month, while it increased by MNT 339.2 billion (12.7%) from the same period of the previous year.
