Home News EXPORT DECLINES BY ONE PERCENT IN 2020 EXPORT DECLINES BY ONE PERCENT IN 2020 In the first 12 months of 2020, Mongolia's exports decreased by 1 percent or USD 43 million compared to the same period of the previous year. This was due to a decrease in exports of livestock and industrial products. The share of mining raw materials in total exports increased by 4 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year, while the share of livestock exports decreased by 2 percent. The average price of an ounce of gold on the world market reached USD 1,860 in December, up by 25 percent from a year earlier and down by 0.3 percent from the previous month, according to the Bank of Mongolia.
