SECURITIES TRADED AT NATIONAL STOCK MARKET DECREASED BY 66.6 PERCENT IN 2020

In 2020, securities worth MNT 53.9 billion were traded at the national stock market, decreased by MNT 107.6 billion (66.6%) compared to the previous year.

 

 

In December 2020, 14.3 billion pieces of securities worth MNT 99.9 million were traded at the national stock market, showing an increase of MNT 9.6 billion (3 times more), while the traded amount increased by 72.1 million (3.6 times more) pieces of securities compared to the same period of the previous year. The total turnover of stocks increased by MNT 12.4 billion (7.7 times more), and the pieces of securities increased by 82.7 million pieces (5.8 times more) from the previous month.

 

In December 2020, the average of indices of the top 20 financial markets was 18126.1 units, showing an increase of 584.8 units from the previous month, but a decrease of 828.8 units from the same period of 2019.

 

In November 2020, the total value of joint-stock companies operating at stock markets reached MNT 3.0 trillion, increased by MNT 429.7 billion (16.5%) from the previous month and by MNT 336.3 billion (12.5%) from the same period of the previous year.
