MONGOLIAN GEOLOGISTS INCREASE GOLD RESERVE BY 53.14 TONS

A geological exploration team from “Erdenes Silver Resource” LLC of “Erdenes Mongol” LLC has successfully conducted exploration to determine gold reserves that met international quality standard, increasing gold reserve of Treasury Fund of Mongolia by 53.14 tons.

This is a cooperation result of Mongolian geologists, scholars and researchers of mining sector. 

The geological research team of “Erdenes Silver Resource” LLC has conducted the exploration to determine gold reserve for four months as developing proper working plan and collaborating with the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, National Geological Service, Geological Research Center, Geological Central Laboratory, School of Geology and Mining, “Khanlab” LLC, “Geoanalytic” LLC, “Lend Test” LLC and experts P.Batchuluun and B.Baldorj.

By the Government resolution, the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority granted exploration license to “Erdenes Silver Resource" LLC on August 27, 2020 on 22641,51 hectares in a place called Ovoot khyar (XV-21670) located in Tsogttsetsii soum of Umnugobi aimag.
