FOOTBALLMATCH BETWEEN DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS HELD FOR THE 10TH YEAR

The Annual Friendly Football Match between Diplomatic Missions in Mongolia was held last weekend at Red Rock resort at Gorkhi Terelj National Park.

A total of 250 athletes of 16 teams that are comprised of Foreign Embassies and Consulates in Mongolia, and international organizations competed in the 10th competition traditionally organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Golomt Bank.  

Team of the Embassy of Japan won the ‘Golden Trophy’ this year again while team of Kazakhstan’s Embassy took the second place, followed by team of Embassy of the Republic of Korea. 

The purpose of the competition is to broaden cooperation between diplomatic representatives and officials and strengthening their friendly relations.
