Expressing gratitude towards EU for their contributions made in the fields of politics, economy, education, culture and art, humanities, particularly in agriculture of Mongolia, Minister Z.Mendsaikhan emphasized that Mongolia defined agricultural sector as a key sector of its economic development and aims to fully meet domestic demand and further develop the sector as an export-oriented. Moreover, the sides exchanged views on a wide-range of topics, including building an organic Mongolian food brand for export to expand trade, economic, investment and agricultural cooperation, implementation of a joint research project to improve the competitiveness of the leather processing industry, exporting of sea buckthorn and honey to European market, etc. Participants in the meeting were Minister Counsellor of EU delegation to Mongolia Marco Ferri, Cooperation Team Leader Pierre-Yves Lucas, Political specialist M.Ganchimeg, Advisor to the Minister D.Badarch and Head of Policy and Planning Division of the Ministry Ts.Bolorchuluun.
