ANNUAL RISK MANAGEMENT FORUM 2020 APPROACHING

11th Annual Risk Management Forum 2020 will be held on September 30 in Ulaanbaatar under the theme ‘Embracing New Normal’. The annual event was initiated by Mandal Insurance LLC in 2009. 

It covers a wide range of issues concerning Mongolia’s macroeconomic risks, business planning, and a new perception of business risk management and attracts a large number of people from the country’s decision-making bodies. Some 68 discussions have been held within the framework of the forum in the last decade and 10 annual reports on the results of the forum have been published. In 2016, a method for calculating Mongolia’s Risk Index was developed in the scope of the event. 

This year, the Annual Risk Management Forum is aiming to explore and discuss the ways and solutions to adapt to changing environment of the economy, and overcome potential social, economic and business risks in Mongolia, together with professional organizations. Its main agenda will revolve around the topic of COVID-19, touching on its social and economic impacts on Mongolia's business environment.
